In this regard, Batum recalled: “The fact is that playing basketball is a very complicated thing for me. I was only two and a half years old when my father died, so before my son was three years old, I experienced a very difficult period. For me, playing games is a challenge.”

“I thought I would never come back. I was sure that what happened to my father would also happen to me-leaving my family. I told my wife not to come to watch my game, because I would like to see them standing in the stands in the future. On the spiritual level, it was very, very difficult for me.
