When asked whether LeBlanc James was involved in Ham’s campaign for coach of the Lakers, Jenny Bass said, “No, I mean, you know, he (James) it is a very important voice in our team, but he is not a member of the committee who inspects candidates and decides new coaches.”
“I always say to James, ‘I want to make sure you are happy. I want to make you happy, because only if you play happily, I will also be happy.
