Live broadcast on October 8th recently, Curry talked about the Paris Olympics in an interview.
Curry said: “This has always been in my heart. I love basketball and I love any form of competition. I need to make the right decision for myself and the Warriors. I need to maintain my peak period. The last time I didn’t participate in the Olympic games was because of the epidemic, and we didn’t enter the park, then we had about 8 months to recover. I prepared my body and I became healthy.
“I let myself continue to take up the workload at that age. I played two more seasons. Now back to see, it was indeed a good decision, because that puts us in a good position to compete for champions. However, in 2024, the next time is in Paris. I hope I can keep healthy and then have the opportunity to play the Olympic Games, which is very meaningful.”
The 2024 Paris Olympic Games is expected to be held from July 26 to August 11 of that year. Curry has previously won the World Championship (2010) and the World Cup Championship (2014) on behalf of the US team, but has not participated in the Olympic Games.
