Live Bar, September 29 News Pelican training camp opened this week. Zion returned. Larry Nance, Trey Murphy and Alvarado in the Pelican array all praised Zion in interviews.
Nance said that Zion was full of play in training: “Zion looks like the original Zion. This guy has not played basketball for more than 500 days. This does not mean that we didn’t expect him to perform like this, but to be honest, he looks very good. Each of us needs time to adapt to him, and he also needs time to adapt to every teammate, but it is really hard for him not to impress people.”

Trey Murphy and Alvarado have not worked with Zion before. After looking at Zion’s performance, Trey Murphy said, “strong, really strong. I must say so, that’s what I want to say.”
Alvarado said that Zion did not seem to be far away from the stadium: “I think Zion is a very special player and we can adapt to his playing style. He doesn’t need to hold the ball immediately. He will find a way. He adapts well and looks like he has been working with us for some time.”
