When asked by the reporter what he hoped to see from Diaro to become a qualified regular rotating player, Casey said: “being himself, he still has a lot of defensive potential to explore.”
He added: “I don’t need Diaro to be a shooter or something like that, because he has done well in other aspects.”
Last season, Diaro averaged 11 points, 4.8 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 1.2 steals, with a three-point shot percentage of 24.8 percent.
