Live broadcast, October 14-today, former NBA player bonky Wells talked about The draft in The “All The Smoke” program.
Wells said: “In my sophomore year, I averaged 25.5 points and was the king of Snatches. I had the opportunity to participate in the draft. Then the general manager of the walkers came to me. He said that if I participated in the draft in this year (1996), the walkers would definitely choose me, but I did not participate in the draft, and they later chose Eric dempier. The 96 draft was too strong. They all had real skills. I was scared to death, so I didn’t leave school.”
In the 1998 NBA draft, Wells was selected by the piston in the 11th order and then traded to the pioneer.
