Live broadcast, September 29th today is the second day of the Heat’s new season training camp. Team guard Taylor-Croal was interviewed by The Sun Sentinel.

When asked about his contract and renewal, Croal said: “I only care about this season and basketball. I will let my manager handle this matter. The deal about me was very active in the early part of the offseason, but I realized later that even if the renewal could be completed, it would be later, so I asked my agent to call me when he was ready. We haven’t talked too much about big contracts yet. Yogueta is not ready yet, I will continue to play and try to consider the contract until next summer.”

Croal continued, “We all know my value. I want to stay in Miami, and my home is here. Since we came here, we have reached the NBA Finals and the Eastern finals in three years, but the result must be meaningful to my family. Some players in the league have got new contracts, but I know I am better than them.”

The rookie contract of Croal will expire in 2023, and his salary last season was only 3.63 million dollars. During the offseason, Croal is eligible to renew the contract with the Heat team in advance. But until today, he has not been able to get a new contract from the Heat team.

The deadline for reaching an early renewal with the Heat team on Croal is October 17, local time. If they have not reached a renewal at that time, Croal will become a restricted free agent next summer.

In the 2021-22 season, HiLo can get 20.7 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists, and was elected as the sixth person of the year.
