Live Bar, October 9th, an eastern executive talked about Magic center Bamba in an interview with Heavy.

The executive said: “Bamba will be a quality asset this winter or next summer. I think if you are the Lakers, if you can get young players like Bamba, don’t keep the first round signing for 27 years and 29 years.

“The heat is also interested in Bamba. They may need to send a young player and a pick to get him. Bamba was born in New York, and his hometown team basketable nets was also interested in him, but I am not sure whether basketable nets has enough assets. If Magic likes Cameron Thomas, then the deal is still feasible.”

During the offseason, Magic signed a 2-year renewal contract with Bamba worth 20.6 million dollars, and the second year (23-24 season) was completely insecure. Because the offseason has just been renewed, Bamba will not be traded until January 15, 2023.

In the 2021-22 season, Banba played 71 regular season games for magic, with an average of 10.6 points 8.1 rebounds 1.2 assists 1.7 cap, field goal percentage 48%, three-point shooting rate 38.1%, and free throw shooting rate 78.1%.
